GYMNASTICS COACH

Volunteering is about choosing to give your time, energy, and skills.

Coaching rhythmic gymnastics has been one of my most rewarding experiences. I currently coach approximately four times a week for two hours each session, immediately following my own training. My specialty areas are ballet technique and elements, where I combine my performance experience with a scientific approach to training.

Understanding how our anatomy works is crucial to developing healthy, strong athletes. I regularly study scientific papers and research on biomechanics, flexibility, and strength training, applying these insights to create effective, safe training programs. Through experience and research, I’ve learned how to help young gymnasts progress while minimizing injury risk and maximizing their potential.

I develop personalized lesson plans for each athlete, testing and analyzing the effects of various exercises. This data-driven approach has brought an average of over 50% increase in flexibility and strength for athletes after just one year of following the implementation of these plans.

By sharing my passion for the sport and demonstrating what dedication can achieve, I hope to inspire the next generation of gymnasts. I communicate progress regularly with parents and the head coach using visual aids and detailed explanations, which has improved class attendance and engagement. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching young athletes discover the joy of movement and develop the self-discipline that gymnastics teaches.

During the COVID-19 pandemic I also published several videos on my YouTube channel in order to help young gymnasts retain and improve their skills:
