PERFORMING

Another way of giving my time and energy to people and my community is through performances!

Goh Ballet – The Nutcracker

After performing as a Polichinelle in 2016 and 2017, I had the privilege of returning to Goh Ballet in 2022 to take on the role of the Arabian dancer in The Nutcracker. This role allowed me to combine my rhythmic gymnastics background with classical ballet, bringing a unique athleticism and fluidity to the performance. The Arabian variation is known for its sinuous, exotic choreography, and performing it was both challenging and deeply rewarding.

Being part of The Nutcracker is more than just a performance—it’s about contributing to a beloved holiday tradition that brings joy to families throughout the community. The energy in the theatre, the excitement of young audience members experiencing ballet for the first time, and the opportunity to share the stage with talented dancers all make this experience truly special.

Lumiere Light Festival

I had the honor of performing my own solo at the Lumiere Light Festival in 2022. This experience gave me the opportunity to showcase rhythmic gymnastics as an art form to a diverse audience, many of whom may not have been familiar with the sport. Creating and performing a solo piece allowed me to express my own artistic vision while representing my sport and inspiring others through movement and performance.

International and Local Performances

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to perform at galas following international competitions such as Grand Prix Thiais and Miss Valentine RG Tartu Grand Prix. These performances are special moments to celebrate the sport we love and to inspire the next generation of gymnasts. I also regularly perform for my gymnastics club at year-end and Christmas concerts, sharing the beauty of rhythmic gymnastics with my community. Seeing young gymnasts in the audience watching with wide eyes reminds me why these performances matter. It allows them to see what’s possible with dedication and passion, and I hope that by performing, I can show them that their dreams of competing internationally are achievable. Each performance is a chance to give back to those who have supported me and to encourage young athletes to pursue their own goals in rhythmic gymnastics.
