RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS
I started both Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) when I was 3 years old, working my way up through the competition levels. Then, in 2015 I switched to RG because I started having competitions on the same day, so I had to choose one. It was an extremely hard decision. Now I am a national level gymnast and compete for my club, Olympia Rhythmic Gymnastics.

CANADIAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2019
In 2019 I became first all-around at the Canadian National Championships Junior Open competition. That allowed me to become one of Canada’s top 15 in the Junior category and get a high-performance status.
BC GAMES 2016
In 2016, I was awarded the title of All-Around Champion in the Penticton BC Winter Games. It was a great honor to represent my zone and my club Olympia rhythmic gymnastics at my first BC winter games in 2016. Thank you so much to all my wonderful coaches, friends and family who helped me achieve my dreams and goals, and continue helping me. The event was truly inspiring and gave us a unique opportunity to have a feeling of the real competition. Everything, starting from the torch ceremony until the closing party was almost like real Olympics. I will remember this event forever, every single moment of it, starting from loading the bus at 5 am in the morning, the opening ceremony, then not so great results of the first competition day, then the excitement of the second day when I was able to pull myself together and still win all-around! Thank you so much to the organizers and BC government support from all of my teammates and myself!

Another essential part of RG is ballet. We do it so that we have a good base. It also helps me improve my turns, jumps, and balances.
ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS
WOMEN’S ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS (WAG) PROGRAM AT PHOENIX
Here’s my story of how I started gymnastics and my precious memories.
My mom enrolled me in gymnastics when I was two and a half years old. I always had a ridiculous amount of energy. Then my first coach recommended me to a competitive program.

As I got older, the sport fit my competitive nature. I loved being challenged and gymnastics made me feel strong and proud. I learned to take risks and to fight fear, and of course, learned perseverance in the face of disappointment.
My last oficial ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS competition, Luau CUP
I had to quit artistic because I had gotten to a very high level in both Rhythmic and Artistic. I had competitions on the same day and practices overlapped. I had to decide, I could not continue both…
This has been a very difficult decision to make and I want to sincerely thank my Phoenix family who supported me!
I chose Rhythmic Gymnastics and went to represent my club at BC Winter Games 2016.
Here are photos from my last competition.
