Giving back to my community is of incredible importance to me! Through coaching, education, community leadership, and performance, I strive to make a meaningful impact and share my passions with others.

GYMNASTICS 

As a rhythmic gymnastics coach since 2019, I train athletes four times a week, specializing in ballet technique and elements. I combine performance experience with scientific research on anatomy and biomechanics to develop healthy, strong athletes. Through personalized training plans and data-driven approaches, I’ve helped improve athlete performance while fostering a love for the sport in the next generation.

Vancouver Japanese Language School History Club

Founded in 2022, the VJLS History Club preserves and shares the story of Japanese Canadian internment and the historic Powell Street community. As founder and president, I lead walking tours, developed a school outreach program that has educated over 200 participants, and secured a $20,000 grant to expand our educational initiatives across Greater Vancouver.

PERFORMANCES 

Performing is another way I give my time and energy to the community. From dancing the Arabian variation in Goh Ballet’s Nutcracker to performing my own solo at the Lumiere Light Festival, I share the artistry of rhythmic gymnastics and ballet with diverse audiences. I also regularly perform at my gymnastics club’s year-end concerts and international competition galas, inspiring young athletes to pursue their dreams.
